?~ Abhimanyu… ~??

I am indebted to  those

who wove an intricate web,

— a Chakravyuh, the

proverbial labyrinth

around me

to hold me back…!

For, in doing so,

unwittingly, they forged

the indomitable

Abhimanyu inside me…!!

? ~ Petrichor ??

In the grandest of “Perfumers Global Exhibition”,

A world of fragrances, a sensory exploration

Thousands of stalls, spread across miles wide,

Each one showcasing perfumes, with utmost pride

*

Every bottle gleamed, with its own unique flair,

Fragrances wafted, dispelling all dissonant air

The crowd swooned, in awe of perfumed delight,

Overwhelmed by choices, their senses took flight

*

Just then, dark clouds gathered, in the sky above,

Clouds rumbled, as raindrops began to pour in love

The earthy scent, of petrichor filled the entire place,

As heaven and earth merged, in a fragrant embrace

*

Perfumes, that once dazzled, now faded from sight,

As the earthy scent, took the center stage in delight

Petrichor, -the aroma of the soil, rose high and free,

A fragrance, surpassing, all perfumes, for all to see

? ~ ♥ Echoes of Love…  ??

Whenever I depart, don’t let grief to remain,

Tears may fall, but the sorrow must abstain

Memories will last, like a beacon in the night

Guiding you forward, with brightest of light

*

I may be gone, but my soul shall stay near,

In your every step, and every breath & tear

Live, my love, live! Don’t waste a single day,

Anchored in sorrow, while the life slips away

*

With every dawn, find a new hope each day,

In every night, my memory will find its way

Seize every moment, cherishing each breath,

Banish every fear, and let love be your depth

*

Keep moving forward, don’t ever look back,

In your heart, my love shall forever track

Through every storm, through every plight

Our love will shine, and be the guiding light

Here’s an entreaty of the heart, post Angioplasty with few stents as guest…an earnest appeal:

– Pravin Raghuvanshi

? ~ Echoes of Mortality ??

As long the flesh and blood endure

A solitary monologue ensues,

a silent echo screams inconsably

On the canvas of imagination

emerges a mystic dialogue,

Unfolding a conversation in the

realm of cognitive intelligence…

Each breath, -a fleeting whisper,

Scribbling life’s transient theme,

Mortality’s indelible dark design

Perishing this mortal frame…

Listen to me, hear my plea:

“Release the shackles of vindictiveness,

rage, frustration, malice and grudge,

While mortal breaths remain alive,

Share a moment, converse happily

Enjoy each other’s convivial company!”

Braveheart Capt. Pravin Raghuvanshi ji’s message to all after coming out of ICU—

Just came out of ICU…after an Angiography followed by Angioplasty… with plenty of blockages cleared off and stents put… People are surprised including me… With daily 8-10 Km walk, exercises, Yoga and Pranayam, nobody expects this to happen, that too, non-smoker/drinker with a regimented lifestyle…

My point is that if it can happen to me despite such lifestyle and fitness regimes… then it can happen to anyone…and we mustn’t ignore our health…

Please do get checkups done regularly… What’s even more surprising that it was never detected despite regular ECG, 2D, TMT, Holter Monitor Test… It’s only when Super Specialist Doctors in the prestigious Army Institute of Cardio Thoracic Sciences (CTC) decided to do the Angiography which led to detection of heavy blockages.

Please make sure that your diet is absolutely balanced with no stress in life.

I was lucky with the divine intervention… God has been very kind.

May God bless us all…!

– Pravin Raghuvanshi

? ~ O’ Dear Heart… ??

When life’s twists leave you frail and worn,

O’ dear heart, -the lovely one, don’t feel torn

Time’s tape can’t rewind, and calm the fear

but to heal you, dear friends are always near

Cheer up, dear soul, and don’t ever lose sight,

God’s greatness shines, like a resplendent light

He weaves the life’s tapestry with intricate care

And wants you to write, more poetry to share

So let the words flow out like a healing stream,

And find a cosmic solace in poems’ gentle beam

May your heart heal, and your spirit take flight,

In the lustre of poetry, shining ever so bright..!

?Miracles Await..! ??

Yesterday’s regrets are futile,

Give meaning to the present,

Don’t let it elude you

A seed holds the potential

to sprout into a mighty tree,

Every moment holds the

chance for miracles to be.

*

A hundred blows may weaken,

but one strike can shatter the rock,

Persistent efforts can conjure miracles,

making the impossible happen

Seeds of possibilities await us

Listen, O’ Divine Mankind!

Miracles abound, are still within

your command, now and here!

*

The past is gone, the future’s uncertain,

But, you must never forget,

Miracles do happen anytime

Endless potential opportunities await,

like seeds in fertile ground,

Nurture them, and miracles

will sprout and flourish, all around!

? ~ Divine Mother??

To know the Divine, -a truth, so profound,

Consider the mother’s  deep love  abound

*

Her  form  is tangible,  but  love’s formless,

A reflection of  the  Divine, for her to bless

*

Within us lies  the  spark, a cosmic  design,

A reflection  of  the  divine’s  spiritual sign

*

World is a resonance, a reaction, a resound

Echoes of the Divinity, sounding all around

*

Yet, we’ve forgotten, lost sight  of  the way,

Focused  on  the  reflections, night  and day

*

We chant the Divine name, with fervent zeal

But faith’s steady flame,  hearts must reveal

*

In faith’s depths, love shines bright and true,

Guiding us through the life’s journey, anew.

*

Let  us  cultivate  steadfast  faith and might,

And let the Divine essence renew our sight..!

English Literature – Articles ☆ Positive Education # 04 : Positive Emotion ☆ Shri Jagat Singh Bisht ☆

Shri Jagat Singh Bisht

(Master Teacher: Happiness & Well-Being, Laughter Yoga Master Trainer, Author, Blogger, Educator, and Speaker.)

Authored six books on happiness: Cultivating Happiness, Nirvana – The Highest Happiness, Meditate Like the Buddha, Mission Happiness, A Flourishing Life, and The Little Book of HappinessHe served in a bank for thirty-five years and has been propagating happiness and well-being among people for the past twenty years. He is on a mission – Mission Happiness!

Positive Education # 04: Positive Emotion ☆

Satisfaction about the past, optimism about the future and happiness in the present

“Gratitude helps you to grow and expand; gratitude brings joy and laughter into your life and into the lives of all those around you.”

Eileen Caddy

It is generally assumed that feelings of delight, elation, euphoria, playfulness, and cheerfulness denote happiness. But happiness could also exist in contentment, peace of mind, hopefulness, optimism, and serenity.

All of these are positive emotions and many more could be added to the list – ecstasy, glee, jubilation, merriment, joy, pleasure, laughter, exuberance, enchantment, and mirth.

Positive emotion contributes towards our happiness and well-being. Gratitude, forgiveness, savouring, mindfulness, optimism, and hope are some of the positive emotions that we can feel.

Positive emotion may be about our past, present, or future.

Past

We may feel satisfaction, contentment, fulfilment, pride, or serenity about our past.

According to Ed Diener and Robert Biswas-Diener, “Happiness does not just exist in the present but also can be drawn from past events. Try savouring past successes, enjoyable experiences and other golden memories by making a habit out of looking at memorabilia or trading stories with a spouse or friends.

“You will be surprised to find that you can draw actual happiness– right now– from events that have taken place long ago. Rather than looking for increased happiness in a better future you can mine your past experiences to pay out happiness dividends!”

Present

We may feel joy, ecstasy, calm, zest, ebullience, pleasure, or flow in the present moment.

Henri Matisse suggests, “Derive happiness in oneself from a good day’s work, from illuminating the fog that surrounds us.”

Future

Positive emotion about the future includes hope, optimism, faith, and trust.

Dalai Lama says, “Transforming the mind and cultivating a positive, altruistic, and responsible attitude are beneficial right now. Whatever problems and difficulties we may have, we can thereby face them with courage, calmness, and high spirits. Therefore, it is also the very root of happiness for many lives to come.”

Positive emotion – satisfaction about the past, optimism about the future and happiness in the present – may be enhanced with real effort.

One is truly happy is one has positive emotion about the past, present, and future but that does not happen in all cases.

Some people may be satisfied with the past, but sour in the present, and pessimistic about the future.

There can be several other combinations of positive emotion relating to the past, present or future.

Positive emotion – satisfaction about the past, optimism about the future and happiness in the present – may be enhanced with real effort.

Positive psychologists have devised happiness activities to increase positive emotion.

“May you play more, laugh more, give more, receive more and celebrate more. May you sparkle and glow more with joy and magic. May your laughter refresh the world daily.”
