☆ Enlightment ?

When enlightment dawned,

sorrow  became  the  succour

Source of love became genesis

of  benevolence  in  the  heart…

 *

Gradually the ritual became

less excruciatingly painful

Slowly-slowly  the  song  of

the heart became the pacifier

 *

Now whichever way we go,

I keep finding a greater joy

Thorns became flowers and

flowers became the gardens…

 *

Sorrow kept on decreasing

with  the  passage  of  time,

The word that did not exist

became  a  renowned story…

English Literature – Poetry ☆ In search of… ☆ Hemant बावनकर ☆

Hemant Bawankar

☆ In search of… ☆ Hemant Bawankar ☆

Light of life is gone

now

we are alone

In sunny days

and moonlit nights.

In shadows of death

and beam of lights.

We all insects

shifting curiously

on different rays of the beam.

Not for

entire shining of life;

smile and sorrow;

love and hate;

affection and sex;

money and respect.

But,

for mental peace.

Not for;

but,

only for … peace

of clothed mentality

and nude soul.

And that

We will get

in jaws of death!

Who says;

we are searching life.

None is in search of life.

All are wandering

to escape from death.

All are overtaking

the smile of life.

But,

we are hearing

sorrowful moans of soul

coming from

the depth of heart.

And moaning soul

also wants peace

…. mental peace

… internal peace

… eternal peace.

Thus,

we all are wandering

in search of peace

in search of … grave!

☆ Endless Quest… ?

Meaning of the life

Battle for the survival

What is its explanation

What is the complementarity

that is continuously on

The state of ‘no-answer’

probably is the only answer…

Escape from the truth

Dogmas of the destiny

Longing for the destination

Encounter with the fate and the

accounts of ‘Fruits of Karma’…

Desire for immortality,

deathlessness or eternity in

the cycle of birth and death or

the merger with the absolute

The infiniteness of the universe

Unanswered haunting queries

Finally, remains the same

enigmatic answer:

the eternal peace…!

~ Pravin Raghuvanshi

 ~~~~~~
☆ प्रश्न एक – खोज अनंत… ?
जीवन की सार्थकता
अस्तित्व का महासंग्राम
क्या है स्पष्टीकरण
क्या है पूरकता
पर निरंतर है निरुत्तरता ही निरुत्तरता..
सत्य से पलायन
प्रारब्ध के नियम
गंतव्य की निकटता
नियति से अप्रत्याशित भेंट
कर्मफलों का लेखा-जोखा
अजरता, अमरता व अमृत्व की चाह
जन्म-मृत्यु चक्र का फेर
या सम्पूर्णता में विलिनता
ब्रह्मांड की अनंतता
अनुत्तरित प्रश्न
फिर वही चिरशांति..!
English Literature – Poetry – Words ….and Poetry – Hemant Bawankar
Hemant Bawankar
☆ Words ….and Poetry ☆ Hemant Bawankar ☆
My words
never sleep.
When you are sleeping
then
and
even when I sleep
then too.
These words are
my existence
my identity.
When the world sleeps
in their own sleep,
then these words
awake me
and
make me feel that
some words are innocent
unknown to each other
I try to associate them
in my vocabulary
in my brain
and
try to tell them –
It is only their identity.
These words
sometimes
correlate with each other
and
sometimes
slip from the hand
slip from the heart
and
slip away
far away …
to the other bank of the lake
to the other bank of the river
far away
on mountains
on forts built on mountains
on ocean
on another shore of the ocean
climbing on
an imagination of my heart.
The words
are independent.
None can
bind them,
one’s brain even
and
even boundaries of
the nations too.
Whenever,
I feel lonely
alone
in silence,
these words
try to tell me
songs of lakes
and
songs of springs.
Breeze over
green fields
and
green meadows.
Fearful stories
of hills
dark forests
and
history buried
in and under
the historical forts.
These words have
their own identity
in my heart
in my vocabulary.
My all words are
superb
extremely superb
to me.
Sometimes,
I get
some insensitive words
in the journey of life
they disturb me.
I had to keep them away
then only
I could create such poetry
from the remaining words.
☆ – “The Earth” – ☆ Shri Ashish Mulay
Sailor should keep Sailing,
Thinker should keep Thinking..
For waters are never Calm
and never Settled, The Meaning..
For Passion Left the House ,
Now search the worlds
Stumbled upon the Beauty,
While Wandering Empty..
Call it The Paradise
But could never call it Home
For we are the Banished,
Sons of The Eve..
☆ Ode of the Yore… ?
The river keeps flowing in
the quietitude of the fields
But the stones and  rocks
chatter incessantly with it
A cool breeze does blow over
the flow of this raging river.
Boat may  be  dilapidated,
but it still braves the waves…
 *
O’ friends! Do gratify with
a  spark  from  somewhere,
This age-old lamp still has
unburnt wick soaked in oil…
 *
Like  the heart  of  the ruins,
-a silent witness of the time,
Its pain may appear mute,
yet it chimes sombre melodies
 *
Though  the dusk spreads a
sheet of darkness over the town
But still  this mystical dark
road leads to the bright dawn
 *
Now, there’s no grudge left
in the name of melancholy
As  it  keeps humming the
immortal  odes  of the yore…
☆ ❣️ Birth of a Poem ❣️?
❣️
Sayeth me, whenever one falls in love,
A Poet is born sometime, somewhere
Deep within my fathomless heart
I reckon that even more than the more..
That the lover Poet starts giving birth
in the form of the  lovelorn  verses  galore…
❣️
Believe me, falling in love makes one,
a ceaseless, perennial river of poetry,
For sure, this is when the universe begins
to conspire to compel the new born poets
to compose the most enchanting melodies…
 ❣️
I wonder, if the poets are divine nightingales
descended in our garden of roses on the earth,
singing heavenly odes, enthralling the angels
With their ever romantic tone of merriment..!
English Literature – Poetry – ☆ The market of life! ☆ Hemant Bawankar ☆
Hemant Bawankar
☆ The market of life! ☆ Hemant Bawankar ☆
The world
is a market of life!
New lives
born to sell.
Old lives
destroyed and thrown
away
from the throne.
None knows
the mentality of ones.
Some say
old is gold
some say
new to sold.
Requirement of new
was too much
so they purchased me
fully
when I was new.
Now,
I am feeling
I have nothing of mine.
Body and soul;
thoughts and mind;
pulse and heart;
each and everything
is of customer
My Master!
My Lord!
My God!
and… his highness!
I’m sold
thus
I’m soldier
… of LIFE!
☆ ~ Enigmatic Him…  ~?
A euphoric fragrance thou art
that  spreads  with  the  wind…
But worry is of the flower only
Where would destiny take it to..?
I  thought,  it’s  just  a wound,
it  will  naturally  heal  itself,
But  then,  who knew  that it’d
spread  deep  inside  the veins?
Whenever  he  visits  my  abode,
For his bizarre company’s sake,
Even the entranced spring greets
by stopping by in my courtyard…
He’s a wanderer  only  that  keeps
moving around like a gust of wind
That  would come  and  touch you,
and  blow  you away,  eventually…
But she too shall be sitting alone
on  the  sand  lagoon  somewhere
His love is also like a river, that
shall recede, leaving you desolate..
~ Apostle of Tolerance…  ~?
They clasped her viciously,
Like a sharp piercing spear
Tried  hard  to  free  them  off
But Alas! She couldn’t do so…!
*
Some unwanted ghastly thorns
audaciously  pricked  her feet
Tried  hard  to  pull  them out
But Alas! She couldn’t do so..!
*
Some  unwanted  pricks came
to  wrap  around  her  fingers,
Tried  hard  to  jerk  them  off
But Alas! She couldn’t do so…!
*
Yet her bleeding soul kept smiling
despite  the  repeated  lancinations,
That’s why for
enduring ever excruciating pain…
Woman is called ‘Apostle of Tolerance’..!
