? ~ Hollow Excuses… ??

Mesmerizing excuses made, as a guise

You left, with hollow words in disguise

 *

Distances grew, a chasm wide and high

Memories of you, that refuse to die

 *

Those tears, woven in a shroud of pain

A heart, trying to heal itself but in vain

 *

Scars left in heart, a treasure to care

Forged in fire of parting, a legacy rare

 *

In a desolate land, I wander, lost & cold

Your memories, a catchy tale to be told

 *

Yet, in solitude, I hold on to what’s left

A heart, once full, now echoes, bereft

?The Cremator??

 Composed mind, unshaken hands

with calming glance

Witnessing life’s gory scenes

and  cremation’s  dance

 Cremating corpses, scattered bones

and flesh decays,

Yet  they  stand  unfazed, with

an equanimous gaze

*

Lamenting strangers surround,

yet they’re like kin,

Their hearts untouched and

souls unperturbed within

 *

Homeward  bound, they shed

their  solemn  guise,

And join  life’s  revelry, with

joyous, grinning  eyes

 *

 Fists clenched tight, we arrive

with hope and fear,

Empty-handed, we depart,

when death draws near

They’ve seen it all, the birth,

the  death, the  strife

Yet in stillness, they manifest

liberation of the life..!

? ~ Cycles of Life??

I cupped my hands with

the water’s gentle flow,

And tossed the droplets high,

towards the skies’ soft glow

 *

They knew fated course,

to their destined shore,

And back to the river,

they flowed once more

*

I flung the seed grains

towards the heaven’s gate,

Aware of the earth below,

only has their hebetic fate

They fell onto the ground,

with a gentle mild sound,

And in the fertile soil,

their roots grew abound

 *

Man takes to the skies,

with pride and might,

In fleeting glory, his spirit

takes a soaring flight

 *

When will you return,

O’ mortal mankind..?

To the depths of your heart,

where soul and love bind

? ~ Wily Soulful Life… ??

O’ indomitable mind, thou art a turbulent sea,

How  oft  thy  waves  of  passion  tumult  me

 *

Like trees that seem  to dance, in a  wily guise,

Thy tricksy whispers shape my troubled sighs

 *

The  earth, in  cosmos  of might, doth  spin,

Yet  in  thy  chambers,  stillness lies within

 *

Elation  and  grief, a fleeting,  mystic pair,

Born of thy whims, beyond the mortal care

 *

O’ perennial  noble  soul, a  steadfast  star,

Always untouched by life’s fierce, wild war

 *

Thy joyous reactions,  a  labyrinth to resign,

A path to wisdom & gumption, I must design

 *

O’ life, how thy mastery I must seek to gain,

To rule thy tempests, and thy calm maintain

 *

For in thy stillness, truth doth shine so bright,

And in that light, my soul takes endless flight

? ~ Time’s Relentless March??

Neither did atrocities of time cease

Nor  did   the  world  ever  erode

When  the  trees  withered  away,

The birds too changed their abode

 *

Wind whispers many  a mystic secrets

The earth  laments, with  sorrow  deep

As petals fall and the flowers grow pale

The old wounds lay in anguished sleep

 *

The sky grows dark, with shadows overcast

Stars hide, with meagre hope being forecast

The world awakens  to the shrieks  of  pain

As love and joy, vanish in darkness wane

 *

Yet, in  this  desolate  landscape,  we stand

Broken, bruised, but are still holding hands

For in the darkness, a glimmer light remains

A beacon of hope, that still bravely sustains

Shri Jagat Singh Bisht

(Master Teacher: Happiness & Well-Being, Laughter Yoga Master Trainer, Author, Blogger, Educator, and Speaker.)

A Universal Prayer for Peace and Harmony

O Divine Light, known by many names, worshipped in many forms,

We bow to You with reverence and love.

O Ishvara of the Upanishads, who dwells in all beings,

Teach us to see the One in all, and all in One.

O Krishna of the Bhagavad Gita, who guides the chariot of life,

Inspire us to act with wisdom, selflessness, and devotion.

O Rama of the Ramayana, embodiment of righteousness,

Help us walk the path of dharma with truth and courage.

O Shiva, the meditative lord of transformation,

Grant us inner stillness and the power to rise above our lower selves.

O Devi, Divine Mother of compassion and strength,

Nurture in us the power to protect, love, and forgive.

O Buddha, the Awakened One,

Show us the Middle Way of mindfulness, kindness, and liberation from suffering.

O Mahavira, Lord of the Jains,

Guide us in ahimsa—non-violence in thought, word, and deed.

O Zoroaster, prophet of the eternal flame,

May we think good, speak good, and do good.

O Yahweh, God of Abraham,

Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.

O Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace,

Bless us with love for our neighbours, forgiveness for all, and humility in service.

O Allah, Most Compassionate and Merciful,

Unite us in brotherhood, guide us on the path of peace and righteousness.

O Guru Nanak, founder of the Sikh path,

Teach us to see the divine in all, and serve humanity without ego.

O Lao Tzu of the Tao Te Ching,

Lead us with the wisdom of simplicity, stillness, and harmony with nature.

O Confucius, master of ethics and order,

Help us uphold respect, loyalty, and the bonds that bring harmony to society.

O Spirit of the Earth, worshipped by indigenous peoples,

Remind us to live in gratitude, balance, and reverence for all life.

Let all faiths bloom, all paths converge in friendship,

Let none be excluded, none be oppressed, none be feared.

May we rise beyond dogma and difference,

To dwell in the truth that binds all hearts—

Compassion, peace, and the light of love.

Let there be no hatred in the name of God,

No war in the name of religion,

Only unity in diversity, and joy in coexistence.

O Divine Presence, by whatever name we call You,

Bless us all with wisdom, harmony, and grace.

? ~ Who am I…? ??

Who am I, a conundrum

wrapped in mystery?

The truth of existence, an

enigma eluding clarity?

*

Am I a fleeting thought,

drifting into the infinity?

Or a mystic soul, shrouded

in the silence of eternity?

*

In this labyrinth of self,

I search for a refrain,

A whisper of truth, or a

glimpse of the divine in vain?

*

Am I a moment’s pause, or

a heartbeat’s gentle sway?

Or a life’s arduous journey,

through the mist of dismay?

*

The riddle echoes quizzingly,

a haunting, ethereal sigh,

As I wander through the shadows,

lost in the twilight sky

*

In the inmost depth of my being,

a mystic voice whispers low,

Of secrets untold, and mystery

that the heart only may know…!

? ~ Quietude… ??

“You talk too much”,

Chided the life that day

I wrapped myself in silence

and fell reticent, as always,

as my words bid adieu…

Time kept flying,

After ages, once again

Life met me at a turn,

Reprimanding me,

“Your eerie silence

speaks bundles of noises!”

Faced with conundrum

of speech and reticence

I stayed silent, yet again..!

In time’s relentless,

fleeting tide,

Moments get lost,

but memories abide

*

Their worth is unknown,

till they’re past,

Then treasured eternally,

forever to last

*

So let us all cherish

the fleeting breath,

And hold every moment,

in life’s transient depth

*

For in remembrance of

memories we’ll find,

Value of treasured moments

forever entwined..!

? ~ The Boon of Forgiveness… ??

Let go of others’ misdeeds

that heavily weigh

Free your mind, from their

malicious sleigh

*

Let inner beauty shine like

Sun’s resplendence

Reflecting peace & serenity

with rad credence

*

They may depart from life

but memories stay

Don’t let pain’s perpetrators

go with their way

*

Forgiveness sets you free,

from the grieving pain

Nourish your soul to let

tranquility only remain

*

Let divine love guide you

throughout the life

Fill your heart with peace

and endearment, rife

*

May forgiveness and love

be your guiding light

And the abiding inner beauty,

be your great might
