(Dr. Nidhi Jain is an Assistant Professor at Bharti Vidyapeeth, College of Engineering, Pune. She selected teaching as her profession, but it was a dream to be a litterateur. Her first book कुछ लम्हे is a culmination of her interest. Her time management of family, profession (Teaching in engineering science) and literature is exemplary. ☆ Who will think about the teachers in this pandemic? ☆
When schools and colleges are closed salaries are cut down,
Money is not the only motivation, but love for students is the only crown,
Who will think about the teachers?
Digital transformation, PPT preparation before class,
Making a difference in the lives of students, the pain of hard work surpasses,
Who will think about the teachers?
Government concern about the student’s screen time,
But teachers’ attendance filling, online tests, completing syllabus on stipulated time,
Who will think about the teachers?
Parents are worried about their jobs and businesses,
The devotion of teachers, inspiration and appreciation seem nuisance,
Who will think about the teachers?
Teachers mold students’ mind, guide their thoughts,
They are building nations that is their fault,
Who will think about the teachers in this pandemic?
