? ~ Mystic Twilight… ??

In the twilight’s hush, where shadows play

Amidst the faint whispers of the dying day

*

I see your radiant face, as a lightening glance

A memory that’s etched like a cosmic trance

*

The twinkling stars above, play a distant hum

Echoes of our lasting love, now a hollow drum

*

Beating out the rhythm of anguish and pain

A requiem for love that could hardly remain

*

In moonlit nights, I wander in the streets alone

That once held our adorable footsteps’ tone

*

The wind whispers secrets, chilling and grey

Of what we had, and what we will never say

*

Ghosts of our nostalgic past, keep haunting me

The poignant memories, so clung, never to free

*

The touch of your hand & warmth of your skin

Torments me, with a bittersweet feelings within

*

Oh, cruel fate, why’d you take away the dreams

The love we shared in this world, now screams

*

Leaving us with nothing but an agonizing pain

A heart that is hopelessly shattered, with love in vain

*

In this pitch-dark aloofness I’m destined to roam

Searching for eternal solace, a place to call home

*

Like an ever-alive ghost, I’ll haunt these streets

Forever lost, in the shadows of our sweet retreats
