~ Futility of the War… ~
☆
War’s dark legacy is a blazing trail of pain
Devastation of humanity, results but in vain
*
East or West, the flowing blood is the same
Peace’s fragile voice, strangulates in flame
*
Cities crumble, anguished humanity laments
With prosperity shattered, even hope retreats
*
Lives are devastated, fortune gets torn apart
Hunger & fear, envelopes the desperate heart
*
When war itself is a problem, causing divide
What amiable solutions can it ever provide?
*
Bloodshed and firestorm that rain only misery,
Causing utmost hunger, doomsday and penury
*
Tanks roll forth, or retreat in an utter disarray
Leaving the scars that would never fade away
*
Let the victor triumph, but with a hollow claim
But precious lives get lost forever in this game
*
O’ Noble human, so it’s better that war is averted
Let’s choose the compassion and empathy’s light
*
For our shared empathetic world & humanity sake
Let’s spread shining love, banishing gloomy night
