~ A Spark Away… ~
☆
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seeing the brazenness of the world
Ask me not how am I coping…
I’m sitting on a pile of explosives
And every person is a live fuse..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a world that wears its
brazenness like sheep’s skin
Don’t ask me how have I
managed to cope within
*
As I sit on dynamite, a
precarious abode
Every other face a lit fuse,
waiting to explode
*
The air is charged with
tension’s spark
Each step a risk, each
word, charred dark
*
The world all-around is
nothing but a volatile sea
I’m just desperately trying
to stay afloat and free
*
Uncertainty rides the mind
with a heavy weight
A constant hum of a
potential dark fate
*
I’m navigating through
live wires and fire
Searching for a refuge a
place to peacefully retire
*
In this fragile balance
I precariously stand
A single misstep could
explode the land
*
Every moment, every day
a test of enduring will
A delicate dance on the
edge of a perilous hill
